Kildare Steiner Waldorf School founded by a group of parents and teachers who were inspired by this method of education. The school was initially based on Templeogue Road, with a kindergarten of 18 children.
Within a year it had moved to its own premises at 28 Maxwell Road in Rathmines and continued to grow. This necessitated a move to find a bigger premises and the decision was made to relocate to Co. Kildare, initially in Dunshane, near Kilcullen.
The school then moved to its permanent site at Rathargid, Gormanstown, Co. Kildare, a beautiful 4.2 acre location near the Wicklow border. The school continues to flourish, with a dedicated team of inspiring teachers and small class sizes.
All parents are actively involved in the life of the school community, working together to ensure the best possible education for their children.
